Why do you keep leaving?

Loneliness,
hits me in waves
resembling the high tides transforming the ocean
and like the seagulls surrounding the heaven above
only concerned about themselves
only fighting for their own individual survival
I’m aware of how alone I feel

Being pushed away,
physically and mentally
like a love affair
in the destruction of hearts
no words exchanged between us
no glances nor touches
slowly leaving us to drift apart

In desperate need
to feel your arms surround me
to feel your hands on my body
in desperate need
to feel goosebumps from excitement
that special feeling
like every sense is on fire

In desperate need
to feel your tongue on me
slowly caressing my nibbles
leaving paths of arousal
all over my body
in desperate need
to feel you inside me
to get the satisfaction I’m longing for
hearing you declare forcefully
how much you love me

But sadly,
every time I come close to you lately
you shove me away
why are you so set on keeping this distance between us?
