I figured I would post this for publishing purposes and to keep it someplace.

Habitual melodies and lingering lines
Lift us to what we’re trying to find
Fragmented tones dividing the time
Defining our lives with confounding design

What did we expect? some sort of sign?
A giftwrapped package from someplace divine?
If we just wait here,
maybe someday all of these stars will finally align

We’re just starting to slip and we can finally let go
Enjoy the ride; the ebb and the flow

These unexpected heights where nobody can see
We’ll never go back we’re finally free
