"Sunset of Your Love"

Translucent, warm hues superimposed upon the calming blue sky
Emanating from our Sun, they bleed from the source
To paint a dynamic view of blending colors
So as to evoke, and invite, grander thoughts
Those of serenity, and hope, of inspiration and love

The sunset of your love, a kiss goodbye
Rousing within me feelings of purpose
To see the sunset once more, to live in the light of your eye
So that one day when the sky fades dark
I shall glow in your moonlit love
