Broken love

when love doesn't love you back. My thought process in this experience.

Mind-boggling, heart beating, sound of my breath heard in silence.
Tears dried from past moments, pen the weight of an eternity.
arranging letters to put together a word, can’t describe the feeling.
I open my eyes, standing alone in an open room, surrounded by memories.
time passes, hoping love will raise from ashes.
