What DO you give when you've given all?

What gift can I give
the man
who has given me
everything?
His heart is priceless
beyond measure:
he already has mine.

What gift can I give
the man
who can do
anything?
Would do
anything
for me?

Baking him a cake,
writing him a poem,
fixing a special dinner:
these seem small
in light of all he is.
Yet it is all
I have to give--
he already has
all of me.
