A Vital Cycle

Brand new poem that I just wrote.

Let it roll
Let it flow
Let it go
Let it continue on
Until it is gone
It is not wrong
Rather something very vital
The completion of a cycle
The flame begins to flicker
Time moves quicker
At the edge of forever
Lies something better
Just let it be
Allow yourself to see beyond the misery
Allow yourself to breathe a little more easy
Have enough vision to be able to make an honest decision
No longer letting yourself be imprisoned
Do not let yourself cave
Find a way to not be enslaved
Let the days of insidious ways
Begin to fade
Wither away
Not being able to stay
They were only destined to decay
Never being able to last
Becoming relegated to the past
A stone has been cast
Time to follow the hallowed path
No longer so shallow
No longer living in the shadows...
