written for the heartthrob poetry contest A woman fears of losing her love. |
Do Not Leave Me! By Lisa Noe There is a chance that you may have to leave, Can’t stand thoughts of being separated. I cried so that I have ruined your sleeve. These are the bad thoughts that I have hated. They will take you away for many years, There is nothing that we can say or do. That is why my eyes are filled with such tears. My heart will ache while I am missing you. You’re the person I love more than the rest, You always have been my heart throbbing man. I lay my head upon your darling chest, I am your biggest, most adoring fan. I will just die if they take you away, In this very moment my heart feels frayed. 123:words 14: lines Written for the heart throb poetry contest Prompt: Sonnet A Sonnet is a poem consisting of 14 lines (iambic pentameter) with a particular rhyming scheme: abab cdcd efef gg, abba cddc effe gg, or abba abba cdcd cd.
