The writing will go on

So I have been on leave a few months and finished a book

Since November 29th I was on leave from my job due to an injury. Despite the pain I made good use of my time. A tragic event occurred when I was 19. I still have a handwritten journal from that time. I had made several attempts to write about that experience and make something good out of the situation. So here I am some 30 years later and the book is finished.

I chose to self publish on Amazon and intend the book to increase suicide awareness. I use a pen name but in my real life I work with juveniles. It is my hope that one day my first book will be used as a mental health resource.

I have started my second book and although I return to work tomorrow, the writing will continue.
