To the stars

Something stirs in me, like seizing
all eternity for freezing

such the vision up above
that captures me despite-

How unknown, this space between
and empty have we always been.

How similar our distance shared
and how you sway your might.

And when you shine in my eyes brighter
than the moon still glowing whiter

What a world like dreams above held
breathless in my sight.

Reflected in your moment dancing
In this atmosphere romancing.

Mystery to touch forever
as this dark is bright.

And though perfected is the open
endless void of something broken,

beautiful though seeming lonely
haunts me with delight.

And still this canvas never ending
how your view is always mending

desperate to take flight and only
reach you for one night.
