QUATERN FOR NEW YEAR'S DAY

On New Year's Day
I'm confident
I'm ready, and I'm brave
No doubt I'll change my ways!

In Spring vows made
On New Year's Day
Are just a bit behind
Still time to make the grade!

Bright Summer sun
Shines short on goals I set
On New Year's Day
Can yet the race be won?

With year grown gray
Perhaps it's time
To make those vows again
On New Year's Day.
