Vying for the Trophy

Being a basketball fan has never been this easy. A poem.

Their amazing displays
Have never seemed
Quite this extraordinary. 

Surrounded by loyal teammates,
Great coaches,
And their beloved family and friends,
The world’s best strive
For a coveted championship
And a glorious ring;
Along with every proud turn
They can bestow
Upon their glorious fan base
And wondrous legacy.

And if these looming icons were
To achieve these jaw-dropping heights,
They would hoist a magnificent trophy,
For their superior work ethic
And unparalleled gifts.
