Lonely Little Kitten

Alone waiting at the rescue shelter.

Lonely Little kitten don’t look so sad.
One day you’ll be adopted
and have kitten friends
in your new pad.

There will be lots of food
and many treats.
You’ll never go hungry
from not having anything to eat.

You’ll be loved and adored
as all kittens should.
From the tip of your nose and tail,
to those jellybean feet of babyhood.

Little kitten you can be happy now.
You have your furever home
where your heartbreak
turned to MEOW!

Little kitten lay down thy
weary head, dreaming the dream;
Where every little kitten
has no need to dread.

For now they know,
they will be loved for real.
Living life happily
which feels surreal.
