A Kitten and a Snow Storm |
| This poem was inspired by something Princess Megan Rose She hid behind the curtain, of that I am pretty certain looking out at the unexpected Sunday snow wishing outside she could eventually go The black and white kitten had never seen the air so fresh and clean Oh, to play in that fluffy white cloud a plaintive meow came bursting out loud Never knowing of the bitter cold, her feline wishes were quite remarkably bold sweet precious little ball of fur it seemed like the makings of a purr Her paws ached to run and play but mama says it's too wet and cold today Better to have fun frolicking inside from the basset hound dog, she'll run fast and hide Watching the world from where it's safe to play she'll wait for a better, sunny day it's best to not wander, meander and roam when you have a nice warm place like a cozy home! 20 Lines |
