Cats watching patiently in the long, green grass
Vehicle sounds in the background penetrate and shatter the peace of nature
The clock ticks. The day is waiting.
Schedule of society dictates my movements.
Into another day I trudge
Longing for the next opportunity to pause and immerse myself in nature.
