3 haikus written while in the North Cascades in Autumn

Cool, crisp mountain dawn
Autumn whispers change, slow down,
Prepare, move inward

Quiet lake disturbed
Waves crash briefly, loudly
Silence returns

Rain drops refresh earth
Spirit of earth rejoices
Awake my spirit.
