Staying Positive: Wisdom and Knowing

Remaining hopeful and grounded - a poem.

Just put your best foot forward,
A kind result of knowing
The enlightened state you’re headed toward,
Amid some timely growing.
For when attempts fall oh-so short,
It’s time to make amends -
The style you choose for your retort
Should help your teammates, friends.

Acknowledge when the game turns bad
And how the bell has sounded,
Then never feel too angry, sad,
And fight to stay more grounded.
The work ahead shall reap rewards,
This logic, common sense -
Dedication’s different chords
Will glow with smiles intense.

See the challenge, trust in trying,
Battle through the grind;
Even through the heartbreak, crying,
Winning ways you’ll find.
One by one, the purest souls
Create much joy, relief,
Through bravery, assertiveness,
And tried and true belief.
