Responsibility

Just a short free verse poem from my 9th grade year of school.

I am responsible for myself.
…
It’s what some say.
They say care about yourself
and only about yourself and you’ll
make it somewhere.

If that’s the truth then where’s the people we can trust
when we really need to?

Your friends can be the most loyal and outgoing people and-
Heh. And sometimes just screw around and mess
with you.

Although when you have nobody to trust
What are you left with?
Nothing.

Somethings can be achieved alone.
But most of them can be achieved
with the people, who care.

Your parents.
Your friends.
Your teachers.
Anyone who you really trust.

Can really help you in the long run.
