A sonnet about the beauty of Creation during summer. |
| God Wants The World To Sing Spring's when the Earth begins to come to life: the flowers bloom and snow is chased away. Each nightingale will sing to find a wife and every dawn will bring a brighter day. But summer's when we see Creation peak: the trees turn green and skies are blue again. It's like they heard the Holy Spirit speak and sing to celebrate Our Savior's reign. The sun means fun for every girl and boy. Released from school, they sing because they're free. They run along the beach and shout for joy and always love to paddle in the sea. God set aside a time for everything and summer's when He wants the world to sing. 14 lines English sonnet "Spiritual Newsletter (June 27, 2018)" |
