Song of May

Written for The Bard's Hall May Contest

Listen to the wind in the trees,
Encouraging sparrow's songs,
The buzzing of bees,
And pushing pollen along.

Sing your praises to May
The month of laughing winds,
Temperate and pleasant days,
With happy and singing rain.

Let's celebrate and dance,
Joining with the wind and birds,
The joy of may to enhance,
With joyful laughter and song.
