A life lesson for the girls..

An old man once told me,
Older now so I'll tell you,
Always plan before you go.
Think before you do.

Each action an opposite reaction,
careful the path you chose.
Remember to do unto others,
as you'd have them do unto you.

Use the ole grey matter,
before the tongue slips free.
Take the time, engage the mind,
Think before you speak.

Emotional thought, deceitful.
Common sense is what you seek,
Common sense grounded in logic,
It comes natural, when you think.
