this is a love poem I wrote for my husband.

The Love Of My Life

Soft like velvety petals of a rose,
Sweet like honeysuckle vine,
Hefty like the wind that blows,
You are most assuredly mine.

You’re nectar which the hummingbird drinks,
That’s how I view you each day.
We are together like the chain that links,
You will never get in my way.

I love you no matter come what may.
You’re my night shinning so bright.
You are my Prince that charms each day,
I long for you every night.

You are my best friend,
The love of my life,
Until the very end.
with you I will survive.
