Real Tears

Sometimes we just need a break. It's okay to cry as long as you rise above the tears.

A tear
Just one
Society sees a water droplet
I see pain,
Sadness,
Suffering
But that isn't all
I see hope,
Dreams
Being washed away
All you see is the water,
The tear itself
It is so much more than that
It's the breaking point
When the strong weaken
And the world is no more
When the act ends
And we all take a break
From this drama
That we were somehow cast in
When we let down the barriers
And allow ourselves to be weak for a moment
When we can't take anymore
Where we break down
Right before
We get back up
And resume our strength
But I don't expect you to understand
For all you see
Is a tear
While all I see is the truth behind it
