We were swimming
A beautiful day
A day worth remembering
We had promised to stay safe
Hold each other if we were hurt
But apparently my place
Was not in your Heart
My place is in your hands
My place is apparently
Under the crashing waves
Your promise broken
My place was never in your heart
Because apparently
This sunny day
This nice, calm, day at the beach
My place is stationary
Under the waves
Past the reef
In the sea
