Broken, abused, hurting, and dying
She's barely hanging on
Struggling against the waves
The pain is suffocating, overwhelming, and winning
She lets go and falls in
The water crashing over her
Before she goes under
She whispers a name, THE name, HIS name
...Jesus
When suddenly, shockingly
Something grabs ahold
She is lifted, carried, held, and sheilded
Her eyes finally open
She is dazed, murky, confused and disoriented.
Her eyes finally focus and she sees
She sees HIM, her King, her savior, her love
He smiles down on her and says
"I was always there. I was only waiting...
