On this Earth,
7 billion hearts beat,
But there’s just one-
That beats louder than the rest.
Out from the darkness,
It calls to me.

Towards the sound I seek,
It beats louder.
Light twinkles in the distance.
With every step closer,
The light brightens.

Within reach I see,
The heart which beats-
It beats for me.
Ba-Boom, Ba-Boom.
My heart beat quickens,
I know-
My heart calls back.
Ba-Boom, Ba-Boom.

Like a dance routine,
Our hearts are in sync.
Muscles outstretched,
It pulls me close.
Intertwined, we dance.
Instant touch-
My heart trembles.
For it knows,
This heart-
Is mine.

Forever locked together,
It cannot be broken.
Life knew,
Their paths would fit.
A perfect match-
To this puzzle.

Every heart has a connected other.
And mine is with you,
No heart beats louder,
Nor does their soul shine brighter,
Than yours.
