I know not who you are today
As much as when
We were the kids who everyone wished together
Now you wink when we pass and flash me a smile
That smile I didn’t see for a while
And every time my heart drops
My whole world stops
I remember when I thought it was forever
I’ll never not wish you were mine
And maybe I’ll never be fine
But you are
And maybe that means
I should be too
