Solstice Sundown

Last night's sunset painted this poem

Solstice Sundown

A splash of Merlot
streaks the horizon
painting the western sky
in it's most brilliant hues
to shout the delight
of sailors
in a silent song
as the solstice sun drops
into the sea.
