what i believe love is.

What does love mean or what does it look like?
Some say that love is the greatest thing to have
Others say it's the worst
I say it's a illness that no matter what
you can't get rid of
It's coming home after a long day & crawling into a warm bed
Like a knife going through your skin, letting the scar heal
then opening it for amuse
It's seeing the one you care about after a long day
It's opening up to the wrong person & getting hurt
It's turning around after a restless night & hugging the one closes to your heart
It's watching your heart ripped to shreds then picking up the pieces
It's someone putting those pieces together

Love is described & felt in many ways
It can bring delight & joy
Or pain & sorrow
Marriage, hearbreak, children
addicts, money, carring
support,understanding, staying
letting go, leaving, happiness
sorrow
You get to chose how you want to express it
Write a poem, card or song
get married, have children, kiss
hug, or in the simplest way
say three simple words
