The innocence survives - a poem about life. |
| Emphatic ‘bout our children, Gazing down at pets, Emotions, feelings toward all wrongs Stubborn as it gets. Lessons learned, we entertain A quiet sense of knowing, Aware that in those faces Is the awesomeness of growing! The sculpting and envisioning Of timeless wants for living Has many of us gearing up A most delightful giving. Looking to embrace this role Of structured youth, desires Has our paths developing A touch which God admires. Uphold that pride and modesty Of fated, desperate strength - The care with which the world reacts Is tearfulness at length. The cause is for great openness, Respectful of the Earth; Channel every bit of want Towards innocence and mirth. |
