When I'm with you emotions fail
days collapse behind the veil
dispensing doubt, but speaking truth
I'm discovered when I'm with you

From you, I gain true strength
when I'm weak and feeling faint
mistaken wisdom suffers fools
what I've found, I find from you

where demons fell, a poet rose
wandering home, but passing through
I'm in reach by only you

persistent hope is cast upon
