I had an assignment where I had to write an ode that includes a simile and a metaphor.

Ode To Pink Lemonade

I love how you are not afraid to stand out,
unique,
different,
not like the others.
You are like a beautiful pink sunset
while the others are just a yellow sun.
Honestly,
you are such a rebel
daring to be pink
instead of yellow.
People should aspire
to be different from everybody else
just like you.
