A Desperate Plea

A poem I wrote that describes some of what I went through 11 years ago.

A Desperate Plea

Excruciating pains pounding through my chest
Discomfort radiates through my arm
Hyperventilating every breath
My mind races with fear
It’s extremely hard to keep calm
The pain increases with every tear

Feverish cheeks and forehead
Convulsing with shakes
Someone please help me
From all the tears my eyes have turned red
This pain I can no longer take.
Demons and Devils Flee!

I finally cried out to the Lord that night
He’s the only one to calm my fears
Calling out to him I could breath
Darkness overwhelmed me, but He brought me Light
Wrapping me in his arms there were no tears
All I had to do was believe
