Kicking drug addiction's ass.

Though silent
I hear it calling,
Betrayal in the
pain of wanting,
I hide away
though it finds me,
I see it there
though it blinds me,
The clock ticks
as my heart's beating,
Deafening to
the moments leaving,
Time is more
than I can bear,
Life is more
than breathing air,
I can't give up
I won't give in,
I'll be more
than where I've been,
I'll stand tall
before I fall,
And answer to
the needle's call !
