We can have the future |
| Once upon a distant time A marshal of light judged mankind We had no sins but truth was dear And when the light was right, the truth came into mind Why not to stop and think Why we have gone that way Of not protecting the light, but the sins of our kind This, is where our nature lays We take a step 'to darkness But it doesn't cost us much Since we are the only ones To betray the light When we rise again The light will be of a dif'rent type But our sins will be reckoned And our souls will become ripe |
