Forever and Ever

Seeking love is a rejection waiting to happen for all of God's creatures - a poem.

When love is most desired,
Not a single soul can mistake
The immense longing and intense passion.
But turmoil and heartache can ensue
If feelings are not shared.

For love is a duty
That diminishes so many of the countless,
Sought-after folks of this universe;
And the hopeful must learn to deal
With these negative choices. 

But God always blesses
The meager flock
Of His glorious creation;
And no one shall exist
Without His blessings -
Or the belief and joys
Of that eternal vexing.
