My take on the classic Christopher Marlowe poem of the same name |
| Tis not our ability to love or despise, But the will in is when forced complies. Two separate people to one, at the very start, When we wish we would love, with our full heart. One perfect person, our two hearts designed. Beating in rhythm, ever so affined: While no man is sure, the reason why, It is clear as day to both our eyes. Carefully crafted, yet explicitly trite, Who ever loved, that loved not at first sight? |
