A poem from a Christian perspective about life and salvation - 1st in Write from the Heart |
| Life's Lighthouse Our fragile bodies toss upon the waves that rise to swamp our decks and bring dismay. For lives are often stormy in a way that stops us living free and makes us slaves. The wind picks up then drags us down and raves its threats that death will come for men of clay. It's time to learn to have some faith and pray as there is only one who all folks saves. He is the light that shines through darkest nights — a beacon guiding ships from rocky shores and showing them the path to Heaven's gate. So square your shoulders, child, and set your sights since life eternal can't be bought in stores. Don't let the Prince of Darkness steal your fate. 14 Lines |
