The magic flower

Gloomy with a cloud of tears overhead,
I was walking on my sorrow that I had finally shed;
Merry memories then tried to shield me ,
But drenched in tears they just couldn't get free;
I kept walking with my misery deep into the blue,
Sadly going on and on without a single clue...

Then there right in front of me,
A flower stood in its loneliness;
But with a smile on its face so bright ,
That could make the pain feel less;
It was glowing cheerfully unaffected by the gloom,
Repelling the tear drops,glazing fully in its bloom...

I bent down and smelled it and never felt so alive,
Gathered my hearts broken pieces,
And came to know I'm not that naive,
I wrenched my eyes and dried my tears,
Wiped of the rain along with all my fears,
The memories I set free with a smile on my face,
And finally realised happiness is my life's ace!!!!!
