when life is hard to find
for some people cross over
to span the great divide
and return sometimes

Bringing back what they see
on the other side
in the grays of black and white

We sometimes cross over

Death is not a moment
it's the essence of forever
the brink of immortality
where mortals stand together

Suspended animation
and the movement in between
prayers of salvation
with pictures never seen
and miracles believed
when ascending from our sleep
