October Write Fest Welcome Letter

Welcome to the group!

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in taking up the challenge of writing a novel in a month. This is a new idea, still a baby, yet, so I'm sure as time goes by, we'll figure out how best to make this group a real success.

So far, here are two items that might interest you:

First, a survey on what you'd like to see as this group moves forward. I welcome any suggestions you might have. For instance, should we limit this group to writing novels only, or perhaps a number of short stories or scripts? Word count? is 50k good enough, or should we strive for more? Less?
