Invincible (My honor in ashes)

That moment that you realize It's not "you and me against the world"... it's just you

You and me against the world,
united,
standing side by side,
undivided,
conquering the masses
all in spite of
unstoppable forces,
and those who collide with
immovable objects,

Immortal in purpose
eternally timeless,
the unexpected ahead
the past behind us,
our fate is set
it's already decided,
Or is invincible love mine unrequited?

Does the life of my character
not coincide with
the death of my honor
and what it symbolizes?
Constricted and counterfeit
I can't identify it,
or put it in line with
myself,
and how I'm being guided,
Is it you and me against the world
chained in defiance?
