Alone

Here is my poem for 04/06/17 NaPoWriMo. I just wrote this. 1st attempt at Monorhyme.

Alone

She left me standing in the rain
My heart was aching from the pain
Sadness driving me insane
My heart, completely, and utterly, slain
Sorrow weighing like a chain
So heavy words cannot explain
And as she climbed the stairs to the plane
My eyes completely, and utterly, drain
