Stop and stare

A love poem to the mother of my children.

I had to stop and stare,

time stood still when i saw you there.

The world ceased to turn.

I had so much to learn,

about the matters of the heart.

In that moment i was smart.

All I need is you,

for you to love me too.

I can't believe i am falling in love,

such beauty, from heaven above.

My heart starts to pound,

the world spinning around.

All I need is you,

just say you love me too.
