Teenage crushed

Young and beautiful-
Like a star on tv.
Your eyes were enchanting,
Your spirit was free.

But this was an illusion-
I never knew a real you.
Vaporous lost shadows,
None of it true.

Strange though I miss you-
The innocence of the past.
Like watching old reruns,
Gazing at shattered glass.
