It seamed only a little lie
When I said I was going to die
I don' t know why this lie I told
Maybe it was because I was growing old
I enjoyed the attention and the sympathy
And this went on day by day
But time went on
I'm still not gone
Keeping the pretence and carrying on with the show
I know not how long with tis pretence I could go
To my surprise
A new drug has arrived
A miracle cure has kept me alive.
