A shopping I must go

A shopping funny

Over the highway and to the mall
a shopping I must go
I've got to figure a way to pay
without letting hubby know.

As he sits home with the TV on
watching his favorites play
What he don't know and I don't tell
won't hurt him anyway.

I'll stop and shop until I drop
and every store bombard
When I can't pay then I will say
just put it on my card.

When he's convinced that the expense
is somewhere within reason
then I am sure that will insure
a more jolly Christmas season.

It's pretty clear again next year
more likelier than not
It will take all he can make
to pay for what I got.
