In triolet form. The idea came about when watching the squirrels play in the yard.

The squirrels are numerous in my yard
Playing cat and mouse each morn.
Jake my dog joins in, in part.
The squirrels are numerous in my yard.
As Jake lies sleeping ‘neath their guard,
They pelt him with their acorns.
The squirrels are numerous in my yard
Playing cat and mouse each morn.
