Empty Eyes

A poem of despair

Empty eyes looking down.
Watching his world spinning around.
All alone, feeling down.
Nowhere to go, just empty sounds.

Walking the streets, going nowhere.
Only darkness, empty stares.
Wishing he'd find someone who cares.
Someone to love, someone to share.

Life has no meaning, he's lost all hope.
His heart cries out not able to cope.
Empty eyes slowly close.
His world stops spinning, overdose.

Life without love, so much pain.
Tore him apart, drove him insane.
Death is so final life's no game.
Forever gone. Who's to blame?
