Johnny was a new student in school
He seemed sullen and so down
Nobody seemed to think him cool
On his face he wore a frown.

I went up to him one day
I was determined to make a friend
You see I was raised that way
It turns out best in the end.

I put my arms around his shoulders
There came a tear to his eye
I could see his fears were now just smolders
He said "Not a soul has told me hi!"

We became best friends at that time
You see kindness is never a crime!
