| The truth holds one distinction More than any other: That the unmatched loyalty of a forgiving soul Shall be forever sworn, And that of hatred's legacy Shall forever swallow the pains of justice. For even as saints contrive their remorse And dictators sow their inimitable wrath, The world shall entertain the policies Of growth and gain And will relish love individually, As a union of lasting triumph And infinite being. Because the crystal ball in reality Is the presence of power and exacting privilege - And the knowledge of one's heart Is the nectar we speak of. And substance demands the totality Of humanly engaged souls. My love, our unequivocal hopes Exhibit these classic tastes and qualities, And we will exude these principles In every passionate and precipitous way... |
